🏋️ Log Session
Record training sessions with drills, coaches, locations, and skill progressions.
What Is Session Logging?
The Log Session page lets you record what happened during a training session — which drills were done, how many reps, what equipment was used, and which coach led the session. This creates a permanent record of each student's athletic training.
What You Can Track
- Sessions — Date, sport, coach, location, and notes
- Drills — Name, skill focus, reps, sets, and equipment
- Coaches — Create and assign coach profiles
- Locations — Indoor/outdoor training venues
- Progressions — Link drills to skill progression steps
Viewing Past Sessions
When you open the page, you'll see a list of all past training sessions for the selected student. Each session card shows the date, coach, location, and number of drills.
Expand a Session
Click any session card to expand it and see the full list of drills performed, including reps, sets, and equipment used.

Managing Coaches and Locations
Create a Coach
Click "New Coach" in the coach dropdown. Enter the coach's name and sport specialization. Coaches are shared across all students.
Create a Location
Click "New Location" in the location dropdown. Enter the facility name and type (indoor, outdoor field, gym, etc.).
Linking Drills to Progressions
When adding a drill, you can link it to a specific skill progression. This tracks which progression steps are being practiced during real sessions.
Select the progression from the dropdown when editing a drill. The drill will be associated with the progression step, helping you track skill development over time.
Tracking progress: Linked drills show up in the Progression Library, so you can see which steps have been practiced in real training sessions.
